Como el examen es este viernes, dejo el ejemplo de examen y la presentación que hemos usado para estudiar.

English Project

 

Introduction
You will go through an interesting exploration of countries, cultures, and people  from around the world. The internet trip you are about to start will show you different aspects of different countries.You will be assigned one country.




The Task

You will create a digital presentation using all the information that you have accumulated throughout your Internet "trip," and prepare an oral presentation describing your discoveries.
 The Process     
These are the steps that you have to follow so as to complete the activity successfully.

A. Search for the information below using the resources you will find at the end of the instructions as well as magazines, books, and the net. Don’t forget to copy the sources.


1. Locate your country on a world map using cardinal points (N, S, W, and E).
2. Find the flag of your country.
3.  Find out the languages spoken and give some examples of vocabulary translated into English.
4. Main geographical features .
5. Information about the area, the population and the density of the country.  
6. Main cities and the most important monuments 
7. Economy. Main industries 
8. Currency and the equivalence in Euros. 
9. Photos of the most typical food and festivities . 
10.Any anecdotes you may find interesting to share.
11. Bibliography.

B. Organize the material you have gathered and create a power point presentation with 10 or more slides including all the information and pictures, graphics or maps you need.

C. You will present your projects to the rest of the class.

Assessment
You will be evaluated according to the different aspects explained to you in class. Remember you have to respect the deadline.

TRABAJO SOBRE LAS COMUNIDADES AUTÓNOMAS

Para finales de la evaluación deberéis elaborar un trabajo sobre una comunidad autónoma, como si fuera el proyecto de un viaje desde Madrid. Dicho proyecto será presentado a los demás en formato Power Point.  

Posible contenido de las diapositivas: 

1.-Presentación: Situación, (al norte, sur, este u oeste de España, en el interior o en la costa, las islas, etc.), silueta del mapa, bandera.

2.- Cómo llegar desde Madrid: en qué medio de transporte, precio, tiempo que se tarda e itinerario. (Podéis usar google maps o viamichelín, que es más detallada). 

3.- El clima: señalad el tipo de clima y sus característicias principales (temperaturas, como son los veranos y los inviernos, si llueve mucho o poco y en qué épocas, etc.).

4.- El paisaje: relieve (montes, llanuras, picos más altos, valles), ríos y lagos, costas (cabos, golfos, playas, islas, etc.). Además de lo que hemos estudiado en el tema 5, podéis informaros de si hay parques naturales o algún fenómeno natural interesante.

 

5.- Indicad las provincias que forman parte de vuestra comunidad y sus ciudades más importantes 

6.- Explicad las principales características de su economía (si es rural o urbana, si vive de la agricultura -y en ese caso, qué cultivos-, la ganadería -y tipo de ganado-, la industria -tipo de industria-, el comercio, etc.)

7.- Historia: señalad los acontecimientos históricos más relevantes (señalando brevemente en qué consistió cada uno).  

8.- Cultura: monumentos, gastronomía, folklore, fiestas, personajes destacados, famosos o populares : aquí podéis hablar de lo más destacado de esa comunidad, que puede variar mucho según la que os haya tocado. Podéis hablar de si tienen lengua o dialectos propios, de sus costumbres más típicas, de su comida, de su música y bailes típicos, su traje regional, de sus fiestas...

9.- Final: haced preguntas a los compañeros de lo que habéis explicado (pueden serviros las tarjetas del juego Conocer España). Asímismo, los demás pueden añadir preguntas al pequeño trivial.

Fuentes: para los puntos 3 y 4, el tema 5 del libro. Para los demás, el tema 6.
